Amongst those celebrating was Lyam Todd, who secured four A grades at AS Level and will return to college in September to complete his A Levels. Lyam, who previously completed his GCSEs at Carres Grammar School, opted to come to college rather than stay at school:

"College is different to school in lots of ways. It’s a more relaxed, adult environment, where you are expected to work hard and apply yourself to get the results!"

"My tip for studying A Levels would be: get involved and work hard. Ask for support and help if you need it – the tutors are great." Lyam hopes to go onto to study Philosophy at University after completing the second year of his A Levels.
